My name is Sammy, welcome to LuDesigns!

LuDesigns is named after my mum’s maiden name - a small way of carrying a piece of my family, built with thought and creativity. It’s a celebration of where I come from and the kind of work I love to do.

Before design, I worked as a paediatric nurse. That background taught me the power of calm thinking, clear communication, and meticulous attention to detail, all of which now shape the way I approach every project.

FAQs

  • No, I focus purely on design.

    Once your design is ready, I will send you a high-resolution, print-ready file. You can then print it at home or through a local printer.

  • No two events are the same, and neither is the pricing. Pre-made designs have a fixed cost, but if you’d like to add extra pieces or make changes beyond what’s included, this will be quoted separately. Custom designs are fully tailored and quoted based on the scope and number of pieces you need. For custom projects, a deposit is required to secure your booking, with the final balance due when your designs are complete - but we’ll chat through it all when the time comes!

  • Every project includes two rounds of revisions to fine-tune the details and make sure everything feels right. If you’d like additional edits beyond that, we can arrange it for a small fee.

  • Timeframes vary depending on the type of project and the pieces you need. We’ll start with an email or client consultation form on my Instagram bio to discuss your ideas and event date, and from there we can hop on a call together. I’ll make sure your designs are created efficiently and delivered well in time for your celebration.
